Startimer Classic Chrono-Automatic
Alpina looks to its pilot's watches of the 1920s and 30s as the inspiration for its new Startimer Classic Collection. The official supplier of pilot's watches to different air forces during these two decades, Alpina brings its history to life with these functional timepieces that are both classic and contemporary. While the design is deliberately less sporting than on the original models, these new timepieces clearly have the hallmark of a vintage watch. Housed inside a stainless steel case, the silvered and elegantly decorated dial now displays chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o'clock, in harmony with the six oversized Arabic numerals. More than a century after it was founded, Alpina carries on its tradition of innovation while remaining true to the values that have forged its reputation: audacity, sobriety and understated designs to join past, present and future.
