His idea was to create high quality watches in the finest tradition of bygone times while using the very latest technology. From the outset, every effort was dedicated to the development of grand complications. That is how one of the youngest names in luxury watchmaking first saw the light of day in 1976.

Heritage of exclusivity

The heritage of the Jura is also reflected in the very name of the company. Picot was one of the pioneers of watchmaking in the 18th century: he created extraordinarily personalised timepieces, each made entirely by hand. Today, his name is that of a modern company which has cultivated his philosophy over the years to anticipate the great comeback of luxury watchmaking. In the seventies, the trend favoured futuristic design and electronic technology, but the company based in Le Noirmont chose to remain faithful to Picot’s own values by developing and manufacturing highly personal timepieces.
