Le nom donné rend hommage aux performances de pionnier du fondateur de l’entreprise du même nom, Carl Friedrich Bucherer.
La marque Carl F. Bucherer a été lancée en 2001 dans l’optique de conférer par ailleurs, sur le plan stratégique, davantage de poids à la compétence de production qui a fait ses preuves depuis 1919. En tant qu’unique marque horlogère de Lucerne, Carl F. Bucherer produit et vend des montres dames et messieurs exclusives et constitue ainsi le deuxième appui du Groupe Bucherer.
