Etablie à Bienne, la FH est l'organisation faîtière de l'industrie horlogère suisse.

Constituée sous la forme d'une association professionnelle de droit privé, elle regroupe plus de 500 membres, soit plus de 90 % de l'ensemble des fabricants suisses d'horlogerie (montres, horloges, mouvements, composants, etc.).

La FH poursuit, entre autres, les buts suivants :
elle contribue à la défense et au développement de l'industrie horlogère suisse
elle établit un lien permanent entre ses membres pour la promotion de leurs intérêts communs
elle représente l'industrie horlogère suisse auprès des autorités et organisations économiques et de normalisation suisses, étrangères et internationales
elle fait valoir les intérêts de ses membres lors de l'élaboration de législations nationales ou étrangères ou lors de négociations internationales
elle défend en justice les intérêts de ses membres.

En tant que plaque-tournante et lieu de rencontre pour ses membres, la FH s'attache à harmoniser leurs intérêts et à coordonner les volontés politiques de la branche. Vis-à-vis de l'extérieur, elle met tout en oeuvre afin de favoriser les conditions-cadres nécessaires sur les marchés afin de permettre un développement harmonieux des affaires.

Parallèlement, la FH offre une multitude des prestations à ses membres dans les domaines juridique, économique et commercial. De même, elle agit en tant qu'interlocuteur privilégié vis-à-vis des autorités, des médias et du public en général, en Suisse et dans le monde. Elle dispose notamment pour cela de deux bureaux permanents basés à Hong Kong et au Japan.

The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry FH, with its headquarters in Bienne, is the Swiss watch industry's leading trade association.

We are a private, professional, and non-profit association, currently bringing together more than 500 members representing more than 90% of all Swiss watch manufacturers (finished products, watch movements, components, etc.).

We have, among others, as our mission
to contribute to the development of the Swiss watch industry
to establish a permanent link between its members to promote their joint interests
to represent the Swiss watch industry in dealing with the Swiss, foreign and international authorities and economic or standardization organisations
to protect the interests of its members in the drafting of national and foreign legislation, as well as during international negotiations to defend its members' interests by means of legal proceedings.

As a meeting place for our members, we strive to provide common interests, to coordinate the policy wishes of the industry and to help conditions in the foreign markets to provide optimal benefits for the watch business.

Our organization is also designed to provide its members with a very large range of services in the legal, economic and commercial fields. It acts as a priviliged entity when dealing with the authorities, the media and the public in general, both in Switzerland and abroad. Our chief antennae in the world (permanent offices) are located in Hong Kong and Japon.
