HORLOGER JOAILLIER OTTOMAN Peter Tanisman est le porte drapeau de la nouvelle génération d’horlogers, imaginant des pièces souvent atypiques au design insolite. Levée de rideau sur une marque aux garde-temps originaux dotés d’une identité si particulière… Issu d’une famille d’orfèvres et joailliers, c’est par passion que Peter Tanisman entreprend très jeune de se spécialiser dans ce secteur. Joaillier de talent, ce genevois d’adoption crée un atelier de haute joaillerie horlogère et met pendant près de 30 ans, son excellence et sa maestria de grand joaillier au service des plus grandes maisons de la place Genevoise.
C’est au cours de l’année 2008 que le créateur dessine et développe ses montres. Elles expriment sa propre vision de l’horlogerie : un savant équilibre entre géométrie des formes et finesse des finitions, un talent unique qui associe le savoir-faire suisse – son territoire d’adoption - aux mythes et légendes d’Istanbul, la magnifique - sa ville natale.

A worldwide Premier on the occasion of Baselworld 2010 reveals pieces with a unique identity and a feel for a great difference. Peter Tanisman has a passion for Jewellery and a Talent for exquisite creations. At the age of 14, he enters the world of very fine and high jewellery to constantly create and elaborate the most desirable work of art. His successes bring him to Geneva where he settles in the late 70’s to establish his workshop to service and produce for the established renowned brands.
During 2008, Peter Tanisman creates and develops his collection of wrist watches. They express his vision for watch making; a subtle balance between shapes in geometry and refined executions and details, a unique talent that associates Swiss Savoir-faire – his territory of
adoption – and legends and myths from Istanbul – his home and roots. Fascinating and mystical, Istanbul is a place of contrasts with an exceptional mix of culture. Unique place in the whole world to unify two continents, to benefit from the presence of three seas and to have been the scene of three great empires, Istanbul is today very modern and leans towards the future. Fishing his inspirations in the treasure of his origins and combining them with his savoir-faire, Peter Tanisman creations possess a strong identity and a clear difference. PETER TANISMAN manages and controls each and every one department such as Design, Development, Technical studio, Milling centre, High jewellery workshop, assembly and watch making under the same roof in Meyrin – Geneva.
