AleXora is a historic Swiss Watch Brand: It can look back on a long watch making tradition of over 130 years. The company was founded 1876 by the two business partners "Picard & Hermann" in the famous watch making area Vallée de Joux in Switzerland.

Soon after its promising start, AleXora became a thriving and prospering company. It enjoyed an excellent reputation, especially upon its successful participation at the World Exhibition “Exposition Universelle de Paris” (1889). There, only a decade after its foundation, AleXora received a “mention honorable” ("mentioned with honours") for their excellence in watch making.

From 1915 AleXora watches were exported successfully to the United States and the company gained a worldwide reputation as a famous watch maker. In addition to the production of watch cases, the company also manufactured its own movements. These movements were used by famous brands like "Geneva" and "LeCoultre".
