Based in Basel, home to the world’s largest watch fair, the Christian Jacques brand was originally headed by its two founders. It has expanded significantly since 1995, the year Jean-Paul Luttenauer bought the company and, with boldness and ambition, set it on the path to new horizons.
At the head of this rapidly expanding company, Jean-Paul Luttenauer decided to redirect it with a new sales strategy. A move upmarket with watches designed for an increasingly demanding clientele, followed by a redefinition of the distribution policy, led to an even strong! er brand presence on various markets: first in Switzerland, an important showcase for Christian Jacques, but also in Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and the Gulf States. After over 3 years developing Christian Jacques in Asia-Pacific with their strong local network, an influent family from Geneva purchase the brand in 2011, confirming rapidly that the brand is pursuing a successful strategy by sealing major partnerships within the Industry.
