Le nom donné rend hommage aux performances de pionnier du fondateur de l’entreprise du même nom, Carl Friedrich Bucherer.
La marque Carl F. Bucherer a été lancée en 2001 dans l’optique de conférer par ailleurs, sur le plan stratégique, davantage de poids à la compétence de production qui a fait ses preuves depuis 1919.
