Enila Unique Timepieces: a new vision
Enila revolutionises the luxury watch market by placing the customer at the heart of the design process, offering the ultimate in luxury: bespoke timepieces, designed by the customer and hand crafted in Enila's Swiss atelier.
The Company was established in 1892 in La Chaux-de-Fonds and recently re-launched by Jonathan Strauss and Lisa Duke in Neuchatel. The name Enila is the reverse of Aline, the original founder's wife's name. Through the first part of the 20th Century, the Company flourished with an emphasis on quality, detail and styling.
With the re-launch, Enila continues that emphasis but goes further, offering customers exactly what they want: the watch of their dreams - a genuinely exclusive timepiece that sets them apart - the essence of luxury. Essentially why compromise?'
Every Enila watch has a patented reversible mechanism and features two distinct faces. Customers can create not one but two looks, suitable for every occasion: elegant for the evening, on the reverse a sophisticated, sporty chronograph.
Customers can even put one or two initials or a shape or pattern across the bezel which can then be gem set. A customer's own designs can be used..
With the clever use of friendly-interactive software that visualises the customer's watch and a modern-day take on the watchmaker's bench filled with examples of watch components, the customer is guided through the design process by the sales assistant in the store. Samples of Enila components and complete watches allow the customer to touch and feel the various elements, to appreciate the craftsmanship and quality of an Enila timepiece.
Once the order is placed, the customer receives a dossier explaining the heritage of Enila, information about the production process and, most importantly, images of their watch design. A few short weeks later, their Enila Unique Timepiece is delivered.
