Technotime takes third place in the "Tourbillon" category.		 Concours de Chronométrie 2011:
Technotime se hisse à la 3ème place dans la catégorie Tourbillon.
On the evening of October 20th 2011, the second edition of the Chronométrie International Timing Competition celebrated technical expertise and reliability by unveiling the winners of this demanding competition. The "alternative" movement-maker Technotime took third place on the winners’ podium – in the prestigious "Tourbillon" watch category – with its hand-wound in-house made Calibre TT791.50.

 Facing up to the stern trials of the Chronométrie competition is in itself a token of audacity and confidence. The audacity to expose a model to the drastic and unequivocally objective criteria of a competition that is universally acknowledged for its neutrality; and the confidence that its calibre will stand up to three batteries of shock tests and to magnetism-resistance test imposed by the Haute Ecole Arc, all validated by the Besançon Observatory and the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). This bold challenge was brilliantly taken up by first-time contestant Technotime.		 Au soir du 20 octobre 2011, la seconde édition du Concours de Chronométrie célébrait savoir-faire technique et fiabilité en dévoilant les vainqueurs de cette exigeante compétition. Le motoriste alternatif Technotime est monté sur la troisième marche du podium - dans la prestigieuse catégorie montres "Tourbillon" - avec son calibre maison à remontage manuel TT791.50.

 Affronter les épreuves du Concours de Chronométrie c’est faire preuve d’audace et de confiance. L’audace de s’exposer aux critères drastiques on ne peut plus objectifs d’un concours à la neutralité unanimement reconnue. La confiance que son calibre résistera à trois batteries d’épreuves de chocs et à un test de résistance au magnétisme imposés par la Haute Ecole Arc et validés par l’Observatoire de Besançon et le Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres. Un challenge relevé avec brio par Technotime pour sa première participation.

While developed with far more modest means than its peers, Calibre TT791.50 distinguished itself by the regularity of its rating. Fitted with a 60-second tourbillon and a twin barrel ensuring a five-day power reserve, this calibre proudly takes its place as one of the most resistant and accurate in Switzerland. Comme pour mieux célébrer ses 10 ans, Technotime s’impose à la troisième place dans la catégorie montres "à tourbillon" derrière Greubel Forsey (1er) et Chopard (2ème). Développé avec des moyens autrement plus modestes, c’est la régularité de la marche du calibre TT791.50 qui est mis à l’honneur. Tourbillon 60 secondes et double barillet pour 5 jours de réserve de marche, ce calibre s’affiche comme l’un des plus résistants et précis de Suisse.

Above and beyond the technical prowess thus demonstrated, Technotime also stands for impressive teamwork to which the company wishes to pay tribute. The collaboration of committed men and women with cutting-edge expertise who have built this horological feat. Technotime also wishes to associate its partners, clients and suppliers in this success, which is an authentic token of mechanical mastery. Since the Chronométrie Competition is held once every two years, Technotime already plans to be present in 2013, with the avowed goal of scoring back-to-back wins. Its self-winding twin-barrel Calibre TT738.00 was entered in this edition’s "Classic" watch category; and while it was successful in all the tests and never stopped once, it nonetheless did not quite make it to the podium. So it’s a date for next time round! Au-delà des prouesses techniques, Technotime c’est aussi un formidable travail d’équipe auquel la société veut rendre hommage. Des hommes et des femmes engagés, à l’expertise pointue qui ont construit cet exploit. Technotime souhaite également associer ses partenaires, clients et fournisseurs à ce succès qui est gage de maîtrise mécanique. Le Concours de Chronométrie étant bisannuel, Technotime sera présent en 2013 avec pour objectif avoué de faire un doublé. En effet, le calibre automatique à double barillet TT738.00 concourait dans la catégorie montres "classiques". S’il a techniquement réussi l’ensemble des tests sans arrêt, il n’a toutefois pas pu monter sur le podium. Rendez-vous est pris !
